The
following sequence roughly demonstrates how plates in British
Columbia are produced. |
A
sheet of aluminum is run through an acid bath, after which
reflective tape is applied and the sheet is cut into smaller
lengths. Holes are then punched into the lengths in addition
to the decal box located in the bottom-center. |
| |
Colours
are then applied, with the Beautiful British Columbia slogan
at the top, to the tri-colours of the Flag Graphic in the
middle. The red, blue and yellow are all applied in separate
steps. |
| |
Numerals
are then punched into the plates, they are painted, put through
a varnish tank, dried and baked in oven for about ten minuets,
cooled and packed in plastic bags. |
